About Me

Hey there! My name is Khalid. I'm an IT engineer and Computer Science graduate from MTSU with a concentration in Cybersecurity. I'm passionate about building tools that protect people's privacy and make the digital world a safer place.

My journey into tech started with curiosity about how things work under the hood. That curiosity led me to explore everything from web development to security research, and I've been hooked ever since. I enjoy applying new skills to real-world challenges.

Currently, I'm building a job-search tool meant for both technical and non-technical people. The goal is to make the job hunt feel faster, clearer, and less overwhelming. The repo is currently private while it's in development, but the goal is to make it free, open source, accessible, and easier to use for anyone trying to land their next opportunity. VGB Landscaping Irrigation

I built this website for VGB Landscaping Irrigation, a landscaping and irrigation company. The site shows their services, makes it easy for customers to contact the team, and includes an appointment option so the team can meet with clients in person. Both the client and the team receive updated emails about upcoming appointments. I used Odoo for the main build and added my own custom code where the page needed more control.

This tool is a privacy-focused OSINT assistant for reviewing your digital footprint. It helps users explore public records, open lookup and opt-out resources, check site availability, and follow organized guidance for reducing exposed personal information online.

SOC Dashboard

A Security Operations Center (SOC) dashboard that collects and analyzes logs, detects suspicious activity, and helps respond to security incidents. Features real-time alerts, incident tracking, and data visualization for network monitoring. Developed as a class assignment for Database Management Systems.
